Our IT group as well as another company's IT group has spent too much time trying to bring this up and running. />
<br I tried the persons providing the software and during my used to help research and clinical studies, develops, I came to known as Free Standards-based software from Apple XMeeting. It's only for Macs, but if you're a Mac or can be obtained for this purpose, it may be worth the effort to deal with Polycom VTC or other products that are not experienced with firewalls.
; has
The program XMeeting ([...]) an integrated software-based firewall feature transverse (with STUN). The video conference was working flawlessly for the first time without any changes to the NAT (firewall) settings.

Other solutions, like Polycom, these "intelligent". Kudos to Apple for providing a FREE solution!Rating: 3 / 5

The PVX software is very inexpensive and it works great. Just add a Logitech 9000 Pro, and your good to go. This little program has allowed me to choose from home a lot of work and errors in other Polycom and LifeSize conferencing systems.

You must be able to follow instructions and set up your firewall with the simple configuration settings that are found in the Help. There's nothing difficult about it though, just use common sense.

Try the demo if your first firewall are novice users.

Be sure you also download the 8. 0. 4 Update from Polycom, if you are using a dual-core or Vista machine.Rating: 5 / 5
