How do I get my conference online so I can share it wth friends?

Author: I did a small conference at school where I talked about religion and faith. One of my friends taped it and gave it to me on a DVD.
The thing is I want to get it online on Utuve so my relatives in Mexico can see it. The problem is:
1- The lenght weights 700 mb. So how can I cut it or upload it in parts of 100 MB??
2 – Where do I find the recording file on the DVD.When I try to find the part of the .video file, there’s nothing but carpets.
Any help please?

get the original tape and camera and hook it up to your comp. all you need is a usb connector cord for the camera and upload it to your comp, and you can register the video to youtube get the html and boom post it online. if you want to edit it upload it to windows movie maker maker or imovie. if u have a pc it should have movie maker already on your comp
