I do a lot of screencasts for my educational video podcast, and the one I’ve found to be great and easy to use is Total Screen Recorder. The screen recording is rendered as .AVI / WMV / SWF / FLV.
You may try something like Tipcam or BB Flashback.
Well for Video/Audio you can try Debut, which has a screen capture feature (and will record audio at the same time) where you can either record the entire screen or a selection of the screen (so the Skype Video Player) and save it to a format of your choice.
Debut is free and a tiny download.
If you just want to tap audio, for a telephone conversation on Skype, you can try SoundTap which will record both sides of a Skype conversation.
