Have you ever tried to have a video conference call with thousands of people?

    Just curious.

*edit* and is everybody able to communicate and negotiate with several other people at the same time on these video conferences?

The disconnect here is that you don’t understand what goes on at climate conferences.

  • Didier Drogba:

They’ll probably have to postpone it due to a snowstorm – wouldn’t that be funny?

And then you would post that the power consumption of the servers to send the video links is a waste of energy and produces huge amounts of Co2 or some other pointless nit pick. The facts are that the Co2 emissions to get these people to a conference are microscopic compared to the average morning commute in a city like L.A. and a conference like Bali happens once in a couple of years the L.A. commute happens 5-6 days a week all year as it does in most other major cities of the world.
