partner and i moved to NZ based on a phone interview. every thing went well
getting an apartment will work on phone interviews, but job applications normally wont
Yes, definitely need to secure the job before moving, especially these days where companies can change their minds in the blink of an eye. I wouldn’t even think about moving until you have signed paperwork securing the position.
As far as getting a job through phone, I was such a candidate. I phone interviewed and two weeks later I got a call for the job.
