Doesn’t sound very ‘green’ to me!
If obama did that then he couldn’t show of the new presidential limo & rims.
Face to face contact is more personal and effective and makes people feel special.

President Obama may be technologically advanced… the Bush administration was not. The White House is apparently a decade behind in terms of technology. Besides, its not a waste for the president to make trips to talk with ordinary citizens around the country.
Why so much whining? Let’s face it, if the president did online conferences only, the lame Neocons would whine that he wasn’t reaching out to ordinary citizens.
Well, it’s painfully obvious that he has no inention of saving America money. He just likes talking about it….

The Town Hall meetings are for those who DONT have (or know how to use, like McCain) computers. And, it is a way to speak to people FACE-TO-FACE.
And if he did that, then the conservatives would say he was out of touch with the common people, and he kept himself separate from them, You know that nothing he does will satisfy you, so why bother?
I agree with you. These town hall meetings that is having really don’t let us really see what is in the bill and he himself is not explaining what is in this bill. Those that are interested in this bill should get to see what is going on and should be put on the internet for us to see. Those that go to the hall meeting seem have other agendas such just as seeing the great one. They really don’t care what is in the bill and listening to him is nothing but being their.
